La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Idaho Falls/Ammon

At almost every hotel stay I have, I miss the pool/hot tub time. The 24 hour pool and fitness room here is awesome. The room was very clean, up to date and with comfortable amenities. The continental breakfast had an extensive selection that was above par and the staff was all friendly & professional. Looking forward to the next month and a half of weekends spent here!

I can't even! The only thing good about this hotel was the gals at the front desk; they were very kind, polite and friendly. But if you are planning on bringing our dog, forget it! You WILL be placed on ground floor and the rooms are disgusting! They are NOT well cleaned at all! Broken lamp shade, dirty walls, shower and dirty light switches. Beds were older and sheets were awful! We are clean people and my dog is also clean, house broken and non shedding. We deserved to have a room of high quality like anyone else, especially, since we had to pay even more for our dog to stay here. And not just that!!! Placing people with animals on the bottom just makes dogs more anxious and upset, when they have to hear banging and loudness from above floors. I highly suggest you move dogs to the upper level. As for everyone else.....If you want to be close to downtown by the falls, don't stay here either.....It's about 15min away to the downtown area. This hotel is also located in a NOT so great area of Idaho Falls.
